Face Oils- The hype, beauty hacks & tips
If you were told a couple of years ago that oil for your skin is one of the best products in the beauty industry, you would’ve never believed in it. The oils were a “No no”, and were avoided in every possible way – especially by those with oily and combination skin. What happened today? In 2019 it became the Biggest Beauty Trend! But as with any product, you need to know the rules and all Do’s and Don’ts. So here are a few Beauty Hacks on how to use it.
- For a better effect, use it before applying any other product, than adding directly to any of your moisturizing lotions, serums or foundation.
You saw multiple beauty bloggers mixing oils with foundation and moisturizer, however that is not the most efficient way. For thirsty skin, a perfect solution is applying the oil and massaging it into your skin about 10 minutes before you apply any other product. Make that magic happen by knowing the correct spells, if you know what I mean.
- Beauty Face Oils are actually good for OILY skin
Shockingly, it’s true. Oil associates with oily, right? So how can it help? The secret lies in what type of oils are used as ingredients of the final product. Jojoba, tea tree, squalane and marula oils are good for oily skin type. They have powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, are light in texture and don't make the skin greasy. So you would be looking for the above mentioned ingredients in your Beauty Oil, as well as rosehip seed oil, sesame seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, lavender, carrot seed oil, geranium and moringa oils. Clarify your skin & get that glow!
- Use only Oils that are Natural & Organic to prevent any damage of your skin.
Over-drying, stripping away the skin's natural balance and damaging it with chemicals and synthetics sounds very harsh. Imagine what our skin feels. They say: “If you don’t eat it, don’t put it on your skin”! When you use organic beauty oil, not only you get to care about yourself, but about the environment as well. It’s your choice: destruction or nourishment. We think the answer is obvious.
- When applying the Beauty Oil, massage it into your skin.
A quick tip on how to figure out how much is too much: if the skin is oily after an hour, it means you applied too much.
